Stefano Zanero
Stefano Zanero received a PhD in Computer Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, where he is currently an associate professor with the Dipartimento di Elettronica, Informazione e Bioingegneria. His research focuses on malware analysis, cyberphysical security, and cybersecurity in general. Besides teaching “Advanced Cybersecurity Topics” and “Computer Forensics and Cybercrime” at Politecnico, he has an extensive speaking and training experience in Italy and abroad. He co-authored over 90 scientific papers and books. He is a Senior Member of the IEEE and sits in the Board of Governors of the IEEE Computer Society; he is a lifetime senior member of the ACM and has been named a Fellow of ISSA (Information System Security Association). Stefano is also a co-founder and chairman of Secure Network, a leading security assessment firm;band a co-founder of BankSealer, a startup in the FinTech sector that addresses fraud detection through machine learning techniques.
Kendall Giles
Kendall Giles is a Collegiate Assistant Professor at Virginia Tech with research interests in Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Computer Systems, Science Technology and Society, History of Computing and the Internet, Data and Algorithms and Philosophy of Technology. He received his Ph.D from Johns Hopkins University, an M.S. from Purdue University and his B.S. from Virginia Tech.
Anirban Sengupta
Dr. Anirban Sengupta is an Associate Professor in Computer Science and Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (I.I.T) Indore He holds a Ph.D. & M.A.Sc in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Ryerson University, Toronto (Canada) and is a registered Professional Engineer of Ontario (P.Eng.).
He is a Fellow of IET and Fellow of British Computer Society (BCS), UK. He is IEEE Distinguished Lecturer of IEEE Consumer Electronics Society and IEEE Distinguished Visitor of IEEE Computer Society. He is Chair of IEEE Computer Society TCVLSI and Founder & Chair of IEEE Consumer Electronics Society Chapter – Bombay Section. He has been an active researcher in the emerging areas of Hardware Security, IP Core Protection and Digital Rights Management for Electronics Devices. He has 190 publications and patents. He is an author of a Book from IET on IP Core Protection and Hardware-Assisted Security for Consumer Electronics released in 2019. He is also Deputy Editor-in-Chief of IET Computers and Digital Techniques, Editor-in-Chief of IEEE VLSI Circuits and Systems Letter, Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on VLSI Systems, IEEE Transactions on Consumer Electronics and IEEE Transactions on Aerospace and Electronic Systems.
Madhusudan Singh
Prof. Madhusudan Singh is an Assistant Professor in School of Technology Studies of Endicott College of International Studies at Woosong University (WSU), Daejeon, South Korea. Before joining the University, he worked as a Senior Engineer in the next-generation research and development department at Samsung Display, Yongin-city from March 2012 to April 2016 and Research Professor in YICT, Yonsei University, South Korea from June 2016 to Feb. 2018. Dr. Singh received his Bachelor (2003) and Master (2006) degree in Computer Application in the State Technical University and Master of Technology (2008) degree in IT from IIIT-Allahabad, India. He received his Ph.D. (2012) in the Department of Ubiquitous IT from Dongseo University, Busan, South Korea. He is a senior member of IEEE and a member of many societies such as ACM, IEEE Block chain, IEEE Transportation etc.
Professor Singh is serving as an Editor/Reviewer/TPC member of several IEEE/ACM conferences and Journals. He has published 50+ technical research papers and 10+ patents, as-well-as delivered 15+ invited talks in fields of Blockchain Technology and applications, Automotive Cyber Security, Intelligent Vehicles, Internet of Things, Cloud and Mesh Networks, Mobile Display, Machine learning and Intelligence systems, Industrial Internet (Industry 4.0).
Swarup Bhunia
Swarup Bhunia received his B.E. (Hons.) from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India, and the M.Tech. degree from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur. He received his Ph.D. from Purdue University, IN, USA in 2005. Currently, Dr. Bhunia is a preeminent professor, director of the Warren B. Nelms Institute for the Connected World and Semmoto Chair Professor of Internet of Things in the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at University of Florida, Gainesville, FL, USA. Earlier, Dr. Bhunia has served as the T. and A. Schroeder associate professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, OH, USA. He has over twenty years of research and development experience with over 250 publications in peer-reviewed journals and premier conferences and ten edited or authored books (two upcoming) in the area of VLSI design, CAD and test techniques. His research interests include low power and robust design, hardware security and trust, adaptive nanocomputing and novel test methodologies.
Leonel_Sousa
Leonel Sousa (M’01–SM’03) received a Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Instituto Superior Técnico (IST), Universidade de Lisboa (UL), Lisbon, Portugal, in 1996, where he is currently Full Professor. He is also a Senior Researcher with the R&D Instituto de Engenharia de Sistemas e Computadores (INESC-ID). His research interests include VLSI architectures, computer architectures, parallel computing, computer arithmetic, and signal processing systems. He has contributed to more than 200 papers in journals and international conferences, for which he got several awards – such as, DASIP’13 Best Paper Award, SAMOS’11 ’Stamatis Vassiliadis’ Best Paper Award, DASIP’10 Best Poster Award, and the Honorable Mention Award UTL/Santander Totta for the quality of the publications in 2009. He has contributed to the organization of several international conferences, namely as program chair and as general and topic chair, and has given keynotes in some of them. He has edited four special issues of international journals, and he is currently Senior Editor of the IEEE JETCAS, Associate Editor of the IEEE Transactions on Computers, IEEE Access and Springer JRTIP. He is Fellow of the IET and Distinguished Scientist of ACM.
Dharm Singh Jat
Prof. Dharm Singh Jat received his Master of Engineering and PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from prestigious universities in India. He is a Professor of Computer Science at Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST). From 1990 to 2014, he was with the College of Technology and Engineering, Maharana Pratap University of Agricultural and Technology—[MPUAT], Udaipur, India. He has guided about 8 PhD and 24 master research scholars.
He is the author of more than 146 peer-reviewed articles and the author or editor of more than 16 books. His interests span the areas of multimedia communications, wireless technologies, mobile communication systems, edge, roof computing, Software Defined Networks, Network security, and Internet of things. He has given several Guest Lecturer/Invited talks at various prestigious conferences.
Nancy Mead
Dr. Nancy R. Mead is a Fellow of the Software Engineering Institute (SEI), and an Adjunct Professor of Software Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University. Her research areas are security requirements engineering and software assurance curricula. The Nancy Mead Award for Excellence in Software Engineering Education is named for her.
Prior to joining the SEI, Mead was a senior technical staff member at IBM Federal Systems, where she spent most of her career in the development and management of large real-time systems. She also worked in IBM’s software engineering technology area and managed IBM Federal Systems’ software engineering education department. She has developed and taught numerous courses on software engineering topics, both at universities and in professional education courses.
Mead has more than 150 publications and invited presentations. She is a Life Fellow of the IEEE, a Distinguished Member of the ACM, and was named the 2015 Distinguished Educator by IEEE TCSE. Dr. Mead received her PhD in mathematics from the Polytechnic Institute of New York.
CRS Kumar
Dr. CRS Kumar (Suthikshn Channarayapatna) is an Professor and COE at the Defence Institute of Advanced Technology(DIAT), DRDO, Ministry of Defence. He has received his PhD. in Engineering from the University of Melbourne, Australia), MTech in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai, MBA from Sikkim Manipal University, Sikkim and BE in Electronics Engineering from Bangalore University. His areas of interest are in Cyber Security, Fault Tolerant Computing, Game Theory and Wireless Networking. He is Senior Member of IEEE, Fellow of IETE, Fellow of Institution of Engineers and Distinguished speaker of Computer Society.
Dr. Kumar has worked in leading multi-national corporations such as Philips, Infineon and L&T Infotech in senior positions. Dr. Kumar has won several prizes for innovation and quality. He has also received the “Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert 2018–19” award from Microsoft Education.
P.A. Subrahmanyam
Dr. P.A. Subrahmanyam (“Subra”) has been a Consulting Professor at Stanford University. He is also engaged in Management/Strategy/Technology consulting for startups, international corporations and investment firms (Venture Capital & Private Equity), and has served in various roles including Founder, Executive Chairman, CEO, CTO and CSO.
His current interests include Blockchain technologies, Cybersecurity, IoT, Big Data, AI/ML & FinTech. He has been instrumental in cross-national initiatives in the areas of Security, Wireless, Networking, Energy & healthcare/bioinformatics.
Dr. Subrahmanyam is a strategic advisor for the Cybersecurity Research Center and the Dean/CSE at NTU (Singapore); he has also been a Faculty collaborator at UC Berkeley and the Berkeley Wireless Research Center. He has earlier been a Fellow at Princeton University, Bell Labs, and held Visiting Professor/Advisory roles at ISI and NTU.
Dr. Subrahmanyam has authored/coauthored over 210 technical papers, 5 books, received numerous awards, and has 14 international awarded/pending patents. He was the Founding Editor-in-Chief of Formal Methods in System Design, a premier journal in its field. He has also presented keynotes, tutorials and colloquia at conferences, universities & research laboratories worldwide.
Andre Leon Sampaio Gradvohl
Andre Leon S. Gradvohl holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the Federal University of Ceará—Brazil (1997), a Masters of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Technological Institute of Aeronautics—Brazil (2000), and a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Campinas (2005)—Brazil. He also holds a Specialist degree in Science Journalism from the Advanced Studies in Journalism Laboratory at the University of Campinas (2010). In 2014, he did a Postdoctoral stage at the Laboratoire d’Informatique de l’Université Pierre et Marie Curie in Paris, France. Since 1999, he has taught at undergraduate and graduate levels in Brazilian universities.
Dr. Gradvohl was user support analyst at the National Center for High-Performance Computing (2003–2010) and former head of Computer Science and Computer Engineering undergraduate courses at the University São Francisco (2002–2010). In addition, he was head of the Information Systems and Technology in Systems Analysis and Development undergraduate courses at the School of Technology at the University of Campinas (2013). Currently, he is a professor at the School of Technology at the University of Campinas and ad hoc consultant in the Brazil Ministry of Education and São Paulo State Council of Education. He has research experience in Computer Science, with an emphasis on High-Performance Computing and Distributed Computing. He is a Senior Member at IEEE.
Eldon Caldwell
Eldon Caldwell, is full professor/ Cathedraticus and Chair of the Industrial Engineering Department of the Engineering School at University of Costa Rica, Central America. Also, he serves as Vice-Chair of IEEE IAS Society Costa Rica, Distinguished Visitor of IEEE Computer Society and member of the IEOM Society Academy of Fellows, USA and the IEOM Society Global Council, USA. Professor Caldwell earned his Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering major in Lean Operations Engineering and AI at University of Nevada USA / Autonomous University of Central America (CR). Moreover he earned a Doctorate (Sc.Dr.) in Informatics in Robotics and Automation at the University of Alicante, Spain. Currently, he is doctoral researcher at the Dr. Ed. Program at University of Costa Rica, receiving the Academic Excellence Award in 2014 and 2015. Furthermore, he was awarded as “distinguished academic” from the University of Costa Rica.
