maigaThis information is about the IEEE Computer Society’s Distinguished Visitor Program (DVP). The DVP has provided a way to recognize and honor those among us who are those technical leaders and innovators through their appointment as Distinguished Visitors. Computer Society DVs differs significantly from Speakers/Lectures of other Societies in that our DVs provide much more than a simple lecture through their direct interactions with the host chapter and its membership during the period of the visit.
This year DVP is placing a particular focus on the following fields:

- Artificial Intelligence
- Security and Privacy
- Quantum Computing
- Image Processing
- Visualization and Graphics
