2024 Call for Proposals

TCSE is excited to announce the launch of a new funding program supporting “Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) Initiatives” that benefit the Software Engineering Community across the world.

We welcome applications from all regions and are particularly interested in proposals from outside North America and Europe, as part of our ongoing commitment to foster global opportunities and inclusivity.

Support Details

• Funding: Selected proposals will receive financial support of up to USD $5,000, depending on the scope and scale of the project. Not all the proposals are expected to get the full amount of funding they request.
• Duration: Only activities that will take place between October 1, 2024 and April 30, 2025 are eligible for funding in this round.
• Anyone is eligible to apply. Priority will be given to applicants/organizers who are IEEE CS TCSE members.

Submission Process

• Interested applicants should submit their proposal electronically by filling this form no later than Monday September 16, 2024.
• Late or incomplete submissions will not be considered for this funding round.

Evaluation Criteria

Proposals will be evaluated based on the following criteria: (1) quality and innovation of the proposed D&I initiatives benefit the Software Engineering Community across the world, (2) demonstrated need for financial support, (3) clear and achievable program objectives and outcomes, (4) feasibility and sustainability of the program, and (5) alignment with TCSE’s mission and goals.
