About VGTC

Welcome to the web pages of the IEEE Visualization and Graphics Technical Community (VGTC).

The VGTC is a formal subcommunity of the Technical Activities Board (TAB) of the IEEE Computer Society. The VGTC provides technical leadership and organization for technical activities in the areas of visualization, computer graphics, virtual and augmented reality, and interaction.

The VGTC goals are to contribute to our members’ professional development and advancement, help advance the state-of-the-art in visualization and computer graphics, promote national agendas in visualization and computer graphics, and foster inter-disciplinary interaction in all of our activities.
