This is the first in a series of podcasts by IEEE/CS TC-VLSI  exploring VLSI through the eyes of high school students interested in pursuing a career in computer science and electrical engineering. In our inaugural podcast, two high school seniors from California and New York provide perspectives on their exposure to VLSI and chip design with the goal of understanding why VLSI has faced challenges relative to computer science in appealing to younger students. Listen to the podcast below to get an understanding of VLSI in secondary education and hear engaging perspectives from our next generation. Let us know any thoughts/feedback/suggestions, including what you’d like hear in a future podcast by sending us email at ieee.tcvlsi@gmail.com.
