Track description and topics of interest

Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), Mixed Reality (MR), and eXtended Reality (XR) seem
to be powerful and promising tools in general, special education and training because of their
technological affordances, learning affordances and their enacted learning activities.
A systematic effort is needed to show that these systems can be used effectively in teaching and
learning processes.

Augmented Reality and Virtual Worlds in Education and Training (ARVWET) invites
researchers and educators to submit original research work in the following topics:

  • VR, AR, MR, and XR pedagogy and learning design.
  • VR, AR, MR, and XR infrastructures for education and training.
  • VR, AR, MR, and XR for collaborative and socio-constructivist learning and training.
  • VR, AR, MR, and XR environments in disciplines.
  • VR, AR, MR, and XR in special needs education.
  • VR, AR, MR, and XR in informal learning.
  • VR, AR, MR, XR and educational games.
