ICALT 2021 had successfully closed on July 15 earlier Thursday. We were also glad to see more than 45 participants attending the Close Ceremony (see the group photos in Gallery (https://icalt.online/gallery.php#gallery) or on TCLT website (https://tc.computer.org/tclt/icalt–2021–successfully–closed/).
IEEE ICALT conference is ranked as the second (2nd) by saliency in Educational Technology area, just follows CSCL (1st) in Microsoft Academic for the time period of 2000 to 2020, see https://tc.computer.org/tclt/ieee-icalt-conference-ranked-second-2nd-saliency/ for more details.
Even ICALT 2021 has ended, all registered participants could still review all the sessions (include open ceremony, all three keynote speeches, women in engineering panel, future collaboration panel, best award announcement and close ceremony) by clicking Recordings from the menu (see the menu icon at top right-hand side of the page) after sign in https://icalt.online for the next two weeks until July 28, 2021.

ICALT 2021 has entered its second day of the event. In average as can be told in the following figure, it has more than 30 people accessing the event’s web system at any time. There are more than 600 visitors today until the noon of July 13, 2021 and the event has been accessed by more than 1,400 times within the first half of the day! This year ELEVEN (11) accepted full papers, EIGHT (8) accepted short papers, and ELEVEN (11) accepted papers whose first author is a student have been nominated to compete ICALT 2021’s Best Paper Awards. The competition results will be announce at the Close Ceremony of ICALT 2021 on July 15, 2021.
